amidst the tension and sadness, monica arrives, freshly ungrounded, paying not ONE heed to run-on sentences and what her english teacher calls 'the comma fairy,' to spread her laughter and joy about the group and say HI SIF and generally share the hot ass that she embodies!!

Do you wear make-up? What sort would you wear regularly? Why or why not? Do you wear it for yourself, or other people? And you could elaborate upon those lines.

shit yes i wear makeup. [you know i think i expletive more online than in person. i totally did just make the word expletive a word. sweat me.]

i wear eyeshadow and black eyeliner. occasionally mascara, but it doesn't really make that much of a difference. (it just makes me feel fancy.)

i don't wear foundation because it makes my face look strange, and i don't really wear lip gloss because with that and the eye makeup it looks all done up and too much. bah. i don't wear anything on my lips for that reason.

i wear it both for myself and other people. makeup makes me feel pretty. it also makes me feel less alarm about passing strangers turning to stone at the site of my bald and unadorned face.

i agree with laura that most boys prefer a girl without makeup (except i kind of think they like the concept better than the reality because some girls look terrible i tell you).

the best thing is when they don't realize that you're wearing makeup.

"But we in it shall be remember'd; we few, we happy few, we band of brothers ; for he today that sheds his blood with me shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile, this day shall gentle his condition: and gentlemen in England now a-bed shall think themselves accused they were not here, and hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks that fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day."

- William Shakespeare
