What is one of your fundamental beliefs?

What is with our society? Our government? We owe so much to our veterans, yet we give them so little. Sure, theres Veterans Day, Memorial Day and such, but thats really about it. Every day should be Veterans Day. Its the least we can do for them. You know why? Because they did their job, nothing more, nothing less. Where would be now had they not fought in World War II? Desert Storm? Korea? Viet Nam? Sure, some of the wars may have been controversial, but they still did what they were told. They put their life on the line so we can enjoy life, liberty, and the American way.

Did you still know that there is thousands of people still MIA from Viet Nam? Are we simply going to forget about them? Sure, everyone else may but their families will never forget. They will keep a vigil until their loved one is brought home, no matter how long it takes. And I I will keep that vigil with them. Join me adopt a Viet Nam soldier still missing still unaccounted for. Write to your representatives in the House and Senate write to the President, Vice President, and even their wives. Demand to know what is being done to bring these people home to find out, exactly, what happened to them.

But most of all. Hug a veteran and thank them for what they did.

'til next time, Normandy

"But we in it shall be remember'd; we few, we happy few, we band of brothers ; for he today that sheds his blood with me shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile, this day shall gentle his condition: and gentlemen in England now a-bed shall think themselves accused they were not here, and hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks that fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day."

- William Shakespeare
