What do you love about community diaries and Band of Brothers in particular? What do you get out of it, what role does it play in your life? And, only if you like, what do you hope to get out of and to give to BoB this time around?

Being part of community diaries makes me feel connected to so many people. BoB was the first community diary I ever joined, and it was such a great feeling to have all the welcome messages, all the amazing people that I got to know, Reading people's diaries makes you feel as if you know them intimately, and I think being part of a community diary strengthens that bond you have with them. It's different from a face-to-face friendship, but no better or worse. I always want more connections with people in my life, and I dearly love all the people I've met through diaries.

I want BoB to grow closer, back to how it seemed to me when I first joined. It is somewhat like a secret club - I used to love making up clubs when I was little. I want to know everyone better, and in that vein I'll devote more time to signing guestbooks and that sort of thing.

I wanna feel the love, man :)

'til next time, Sif

Sif's thoughts on BoB

"But we in it shall be remember'd; we few, we happy few, we band of brothers ; for he today that sheds his blood with me shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile, this day shall gentle his condition: and gentlemen in England now a-bed shall think themselves accused they were not here, and hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks that fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day."

- William Shakespeare
