I usually wear quite a bit of makeup: foundation, eyeshadow, mascara, concealer, eyeliner, and blush. I use natural colors though; not like my sister who has a penchant for blue eyeshadow. My skin is lighter than white and I feel better about having a little color even if it pre-packaged. I wear it to feel more comfortable about myself in that respect, and I feel better when I wear makeup in public, like I'm ready to face the world. I use makeup to highlight and accentuate and I think that in small doses makeup is good for you.
