for the purposes of molly's survey.

If you have a significant other, please tell me: name or short description of said person, how long you've known each other, and how you met.

my boy is kyle. you should read him or send him an instant message because he's a very nice kid and you'd like him. he's short (5'7") and muscular and has beautiful hazel eyes. we have known [of] each other for nearly two years, but we've only been a "couple" for about 10 months. we'd had classes together, but we actually "met" because we had a mutual friend whom kyle was interested in.

1. What you like best about him/her.

1. he's simply a nice guy. he does nice things for people. he doesn't talk shit, he doesn't get in people's faces, and he isn't conceited.
2. he's honest and earnest. he doesn't bullshit people (unless, of course, it's a western traditions class) and he never makes things up for my benefit. he doesn't open his mouth if he doesn't know what he's talking about.
3. he's well-mannered and even-tempered. he doesn't get angry and blow up. his moods aren't wild or fickle. he's almost always happy and enjoyable to be around.

2. What you like least about him/her.

1. he moves SLOW and he's always late. it takes him much longer than me to get ready and it's impossible to get him anywhere on time.
2. he's can be a bit too practical. i wouldn't mind a little more frivolity, spontaneity, or crazyness. he doesn't do much on the spur of the moment.
3. he's not 100% convinced of my devotion to him. he knows i love him, but he's concerned that i will "realize i don't want him" or "find somebody better".

okay, i apologize if i got long-winded. ;)

'til next time, laura

"But we in it shall be remember'd; we few, we happy few, we band of brothers ; for he today that sheds his blood with me shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile, this day shall gentle his condition: and gentlemen in England now a-bed shall think themselves accused they were not here, and hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks that fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day."

- William Shakespeare
